Except for site and worldwide licenses, you need as many licenses as you have developers working with SFPE (i.e. calling the SFPE API). You don't need any license for build machines or for developers who don't call the SFPE API inside a project using SFPE.

Important notes:
Note 1: SFPE for .Net Framework (2 to 4) and SFPE for .Net 6+ are sold as 2 different products. It is not allowed to port the source code of SFPE for .Net Framework to a .Net version >= 5.x.
Note 2: Licenses with and without source code can't be mixed. At any moment, you can only have one active subscription with sources or without sources, not both.
Note 3: You should purchase the sources if:
- You want a good understanding of the framework.
- You want to customize the sources and/or extend the framework.
- You want to receive quick fixes like "change this to that in this file at line N".
- You want to debug in non obfuscated code.
- You simply feel more comfortable with the sources at hand, just in case...
Note 4: Be informed that this product does not contain any documentation. However the API is very intuitive and you know I'm here to help if you have any issue.
Note 5: A subscription does not give a right to a set of specific version numbers (especially the one that was available the last day of your subscription). It only gives you a right to access the download area and download what is available. After your subscription expires, there is no way to download the versions that were available to you. You must keep backups and ensure to download the files when your subscription is valid.
